Autumn in Boston’s Back Bay!

Fall in the Back Bay, the Saunders Way
At Saunders Real Estate, the Back Bay is more than where we do business. It is our home, our history, and a neighborhood we are incredibly proud to help shape.
There is nothing quite like fall in Boston, especially here in the Back Bay. From Newbury Street’s newest luxury destination to seasonal flavors, local traditions, and some of the city’s most beautiful outdoor spaces, there is so much to experience just steps from The Saunders Building.
Here are a few of the things we are most excited about this season.
Norwegian Wool Arrives at 47 Newbury Street
We are thrilled to welcome Norwegian Wool to our own 47 Newbury Street!
Known for its beautifully crafted luxury outerwear, Norwegian Wool is a perfect addition to Newbury Street’s renowned shopping scene. With cooler weather arriving, there could not be a better time to discover its collection of sophisticated coats, hats, and cold-weather essentials.
The store opens October 1 for a limited time. Be sure to stop in and experience one of the newest additions to the Saunders portfolio.
Fall at the Boston Public Garden
Beautiful in every season, the Boston Public Garden is especially spectacular in the fall.
Just steps from The Saunders Building, it is the perfect place for a lunchtime walk, a quiet break between meetings, or simply a chance to enjoy the crisp air and changing leaves in one of Boston’s most iconic settings.

Taste the Season
Back Bay’s restaurant and café scene is one of the many reasons we love this neighborhood. This fall, local favorites are celebrating the season with creative drinks, indulgent treats, and menus inspired by New England’s harvest.
-
- Central Perk Coffee Co., located at 205 Newbury Street, is serving a full lineup of fall favorites, including the Apple Pancake Latte, Pumpkin Spice Latte, Brown Sugar Maple Cold Brew, Apple Peach Pie Refresher, and Honeycrisp Apple Green Tea.
- J.P. Licks at 173 Newbury Street is leaning into the season with flavors such as Pumpkin Cookies ’N’ Cream and Apple Crisp ice cream.
- Bistro du Midi at 272 Boylston Street is known for showcasing fresh, locally sourced ingredients. We cannot wait to see how the season’s best produce and provisions make their way onto the fall menu.
One More Open Newbury Street
The final Open Newbury Street of the year takes place Sunday, October 1.
For ten years, this beloved Boston tradition has transformed Newbury Street into a pedestrian-only destination filled with shopping, dining, entertainment, and the unmistakable energy of the Back Bay. It is the perfect way to spend a fall Sunday and experience one of Boston’s most iconic streets at a more relaxed pace.
Fresh Finds at Copley Square
The Copley Square Farmers Market is open every Tuesday and Thursday from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. through November 24.
Stop by for locally grown produce, fresh flowers, specialty foods, baked goods, meats, and more. It is one of the easiest and most enjoyable ways to support local farmers and bring a little taste of New England home with you.
A Season of Culture at the Boston Public Library
The iconic Boston Public Library offers an incredible calendar of programs throughout the fall, including author events, Shakespeare in the Library, guided tours of its historic architecture, and much more.
