We at Saunders Real Estate love our neighborhood, and we always look forward to summer in the Back Bay. Read on for a selection of events and amenities happening in our neighborhood this summer. We hope you enjoy everything our beautiful Back Bay has to offer!

Did you know there’s a seasonal Farmer’s Market at Copley Square? Each Tuesday and Thursday, 11:00am-6:00pm, you can shop for local vegetables, fruit, flowers, meats, specialty foods, baked goods & more!

Boston Public Garden is beautiful all year, and it’s especially popular in summertime.  Highlights include generous shade trees, walking paths, gorgeous seasonal plantings, the Swan Boats (now in their 149th season!) and, of course, the iconic Boston Frosty. The Public Garden is an excellent place to take an afternoon walk, eat lunch, recharge, and enjoy a world-class urban green space, steps away from your office.

Berklee College of Music’s “Summer in the City” concert series will hold free performances at Back Bay’s historic Central Library in Copley Square. These concerts are an incredible opportunity for music lovers to enjoy some summertime sounds in one of Boston’s most celebrated buildings.

Rooftop dining is an ultimate urban summer experience. Contessa Ristorante, at the top of The Newbury Boston on 3 Newbury Street, features sumptuous Italian cuisine, a modern glass terrace, and incredible Back Bay views. Just one of many local destinations adding a touch of luxury to your summer day or night.

Mayor MIchelle Wu has announced that Open Newbury Street will take place once again this summer! A beloved ten-year tradition, Open Newbury Street happens on a handful of Sundays in July and August, when the iconic street is closed to vehicle traffic and open only to pedestrians.
